Stronger Communities Round 10

Expressions of Interest for the Stronger Communities Programme Round 10 are open!

The program provides grants to local organisations for projects that strengthen and benefit local communities, and we'd love to hear about the project your club or group may have in mind.

Round 10 offers grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 for small capital and infrastructure projects – think upgrades to community facilities and equipment, accessibility and inclusion improvements, energy-efficiency measures, or projects supporting veterans, First Nations communities, and newly arrived residents.

To be eligible:

  •            Projects need to be located in the Gellibrand electorate
  •            Projects should have a completion date by 31 March 2028
  •            Your organisation must be an incorporated not-for-profit (or similar eligible entity) with an ABN.

To register your interest, please complete our Expression of Interest form: Stronger Communities Programme Round 10 — Expression of Interest – Fill out form. EOIs need to reach our office by end of day Monday 26 October 2026.

All EOIs will be reviewed through the Gellibrand community consultation committee process, which nominates projects for the program. If your project is successfully nominated, you'll receive an invitation to submit a full application in December. Please note that submitting an EOI, and being nominated, doesn't guarantee funding — final decisions are made by the Department once full applications are assessed.

If you'd like to talk through an idea before putting in an EOI, feel free to get in touch with our office. We're looking forward to seeing what you're planning for our community.

I’d like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet today. I would also like to pay my respects to Elders past and present and future custodians and Elders of the nation.
